Hollow Shaft Stepper + DLM

Jiangsu DINGS’ offers high performance of stepper driven compact electric linear module, DLM series. DINGS’ designs and develops DLM series based on premium level of DINGS’ External stepper lead screw linear actuator and it has NEMA6 (14mm), NEMA8 (20mm), NEMA11 (28mm), NEMA14 (35mm), NEMA17 (42mm) and NEMA23 (57mm) options. It was very common for customers to purchase motor, screw, mounting bracket, LM guide, rail, damper and extra to build linear module but DINGS’ provides all parts integrated DLM series so it enables customers to make everything simple and minimize space. DLM series offers from 20mm effective stroke up to maximum 600mm effective stroke (it depends on motor size so please check DINGS’ website to check stroke availability) with wide range of lead screw pitches. According to load and speed requirements, customer can choose DLM series with convenience. DLM series also offers ball screw option and teflon coated lead screw. Also customer can choose an encoder, power-off brake, limit sensor and other accessories.
In addition, DINGS' provides 7 different sizes of Hollow shaft stepper motors from 14mm to 86mm. Each size has multiple stack lengths. Single or dual shaft is standard but customized shaft options are also available. In addition hollow shaft encoders are available. Customers are able to use hollow shaft motor to let something go thru hollow shaft like suction valve, cables or pumps especially pick & place application, electronics picker module or other applications. Hollow shaft motor enables customers to design this kind of pick-up module in very compact design and small size of hollow steppers for example NEMA8 or NEMA11, it can reduce total weight of picker module since light weight of motors. For better positioning, lots of customers require closed loop function of hollow shaft motors and DINGS’ has various hollow shaft type of encoders so it can be very helpful to realize light weight of motor and encoder package for higher accuracy of positioning.
This demo video shows combination of DLM and Hollow shaft motor for conventional pick & place application. Totally 3 axes motion shows very tiny size of motor solutions can be widely used for pick & place application and thru hollow shaft motor, vacuum suction valve goes into motor to handle object precisely. And DS-CLS9-FETC-4I, which is dynamic 4 axes controller via EtherCAT communication. DS-CLS9-FETC-4I supports 2, 3 and 5 phase stepper as open and closed loop. Single driver can support open and closed loop mode altogether which is dynamic control mode of EtherCAT driver.
